- What is the main goal for this project?

The main goal for the project is to assist Benessere North (a new Canadian nonprofit corp) to help the physician founder launch a membership service for women with chronic diseases, with the primary focus being to help them transition to eating whole food plant-based nutrition. Some specific goals of the nonprofit are to help grow the audience and email list, assist with marketing, including ideally social media content strategy and implementation, email marketing, as well as assistance with applying for nonprofit grants (if this is in the students' realm).
- What tasks will learners need to complete to achieve the project goal?

Tasks for learners to complete include:
- Researching and analyzing the target audience for the membership service.
- Developing a social media content strategy and implementing it, including creating and/or editing reels/shorts for Instagram and YouTube.
- Creating an email marketing plan to promote the membership service.
- Assisting with the application process for nonprofit grants (if possible).
- Providing improvement opportunities for the membership site (no coding required at all) and overall marketing strategy.
Final deliverables should include:
- A comprehensive social media content strategy and implemented content to help grow the audience and email list.
- An email marketing plan for promoting the membership service to the email lists.
- Grant application materials and recommendations (if possible).
- Improvement opportunities for the membership site (no coding needed) and marketing strategy.

- How will you support learners in completing the project?

I will make myself available to the students whenever needed. I will offer whatever materials I have, including lots of tech products I have purchased, if helpful. I will provide support and guidance to the students in whatever way is needed, while also letting them do what they need to do in the ways they and their educator feel are best. Looking forward to this collaboration!

This is a not-for-profit that helps women struggling with high blood pressure, weight issues, and many other chronic health concerns to prevent, suspend and whenever possible (which is often) to reverse their chronic diseases, primarily by coaching them to alter their nutrition (plant-based). We also incorporate the other healthy lifestyle pillars or habits.
Vivian Polak, MD, provides the coaching to the clients by way of a course to help them get started eating this way, then in a women's membership for on-going expert guidance and support. It has been enormously helpful to have a few people volunteer from time to time to help get the message and assistance out to the public - with video editing, marketing suggestions, website design, other IT support, etc.
PS I'm a 1990 grad from the HBA program! But not long after that, I went into medicine, so I'd love your help!!
