Project scope
What is the main goal for this project?

The main goal for the project is to build a website for We're Here For You Canada that can be easily updated in the future. Additionally, the project aims to create and implement a social media campaign to promote a provincial multi-city educational campaign and presentations to youth in schools and adults in lunch and learns.

We provide services to those affected by gender based violence - intimate partner, family violence, sexual assault, elder abuse, child abuse. We need someone who can create the work but through a feminist lens to support the work we do

What tasks will learners need to complete to achieve the project goal?

- Design and develop a user-friendly website for We're Here For You Canada that allows for easy updates in the future.

- Create and implement a social media campaign to promote the provincial multi-city educational campaign and presentations.

- Develop content for the website and social media platforms that effectively communicates the mission and goals of the Comfort Kit Project.

- Coordinate with volunteers and stakeholders to gather necessary information and materials for the website and social media campaign.

How will you support learners in completing the project?

We will provide the direction, feedback and share the importance of what we do. Ideally the person in this position will be able to work alone with regular guidance. We can share the social justice personal aspect if you can share the IT end!
