LiveImmigration aims to facilitate connections between U.S. businesses and international students seeking employment and sponsorship for U.S. permanent resident status. The project involves launching and promoting a free online service that serves three main user groups: U.S. businesses, international students, and self-employed recruiters. The platform will enable U.S. businesses to post job listings specifically targeting international students at universities across the country. It will also allow international students to search for job opportunities and potential sponsors for U.S. green cards. Additionally, the platform will provide a space for self-employed recruiters to establish and manage their own business, linking American businesses with international students. The goal is to create a user-friendly, efficient, and secure platform that meets the needs of all stakeholders involved.

Deliverables

The project deliverables include identification of U.S. businesses, located throughout the U.S., seeking to hire reliable workers to fill open jobs. To find those companies, marketing messaging must be developed and sent out to attract prospective employer/sponsors. Such messaging may be via social media, or industry or community associations, offering them free, online webinars given by an experienced U.S. immigration attorney. Topics covered will provide education for businesses, students, and recruiters. A platform has already been developed and is ready for persons. The completed platform features separate portals for (a) job postings, (b) online job applications and (c) a secure messaging system. A promotional strategy should be developed to attract users to the platform. The final deliverable will be a comprehensive report detailing the platform's success in attracting U.S businesses which are willing to sponsor international students for their green card, and will include recommendations for future improvements.
