Black Business Live Inc. is looking for a Video/Editor looking for experience and drive
to develop their skills and grow with us. If you are looking to build your platform and develop a team of your own then look no further! Our project, Melenated Focused Meaningful Impact
begins in April 2024. The desired outcome is to create a platform that authentically represents
the diversity and richness of melanated experiences. This means producing content that
accurately reflects the multifaceted nature of the melanated community, including its history,
culture, achievements, and challenges. Together, we can effectively counter negative
stereotypes and promote a more nuanced understanding of black identity.
- What tasks will learners need to complete to achieve the project goal?

- Adhere to the creative vision and objectives set by the director or project lead.
- Edit raw video footage using editing software to create a cohesive and engaging final
- product.
- Organize and manage video files, ensuring proper storage and backup to maintain data
- integrity.
- Apply video editing techniques, such as cutting, trimming, color grading, and audio mixing,
- to enhance visual storytelling.
- Collaborate with producers, directors, and other team members to understand the desired
- narrative and creative direction.

Students will utilize the equipment provided if needed. There will be opportunities to learn from experienced subject matter experts for mentoring and job shadowing at certain events.
Students will have access to use authorized content to build their portfolio. Students can
expect to participate in weeky to bi-weekly events.
