What is the main goal for this project?

The primary objective of this project is to expand Veer Renewables' market presence in countries outside America, with a specific focus on emerging markets in offshore wind, such as Australia, South America, and Taiwan. Through comprehensive marketing research and strategy development, the marketing research intern will play a pivotal role in identifying key offshore wind developers securing projects, monitoring governmental progress in offshore wind initiatives, and crafting tailored marketing approaches to effectively reach and engage with these organizations.

What tasks will learners need to complete to achieve the project goal?

Market Research and Analysis:

  • Conduct in-depth research on the offshore wind energy market in target countries, including Australia, South America, and Taiwan.
  • Gather data on market size, growth projections, regulatory frameworks, and key industry trends.

Stakeholder Identification and Profiling:

  • Identify and profile offshore wind developers securing projects in the target regions.
  • Understand their organizational structure, decision-making processes, and specific needs related to wind asset assessment and optimization.

Governmental Progress Monitoring:

  • Monitor governmental initiatives, policies, and incentives supporting offshore wind development in the target countries.
  • Track regulatory updates, licensing processes, and any emerging trends shaping the industry landscape.

Competitive Analysis:

  • Conduct a comprehensive analysis of competitors offering similar services or solutions in the offshore wind energy sector.
  • Identify strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats posed by competitors to inform strategic positioning.

SWOT Analysis:
