Project scope
What is the main goal for this project?

LUNA is the brain child of two mental health professionals who've worked with hundreds of clients over the years to help their kids and families sleep better. We want to better understand our target market and the overall market, so we can uniquely position ourselves within our industry.

We would like to collaborate with students to conduct market research.

This will involve several different steps for the students, including:

  • Familiarizing themselves with our values, mission, and services.
  • Researching our target market and market potential.
  • Researching the industry and competitive landscape.
  • Recommending strategies to improve our positioning, brand, and services.

Bonus steps in the process would also include:

  • Recommending strategies to differentiate ourselves from our competition.
What tasks will learners need to complete to achieve the project goal?

By the end of the project, students should demonstrate:

  • Familiarity with our company’s services
  • Understanding of our target market and market potential
  • Understanding of our industry and competitors
  • Recommendation of strategies to improve our company’s services

Bonus steps would include:

  • Identifying our company’s competitive advantages

Final deliverables should include

  • A final report.
  • A presentation.
How will you support learners in completing the project?

Students will connect directly with us for mentorship throughout the project. We will be able to provide answers to questions such as:

  • Our mission, and services
  • Our current understanding of the market
  • Input on choices, problems or anything else the students might encounter.
