- What is the main goal for this project?

Learn what it is like working with a production studio. A variety of jobs and skills will be trained. Working with video and photo equipment, crewing on projects, learning how to edit and do editing on projects. Helping to organize projects. Learning the software Davinci Resolve. Helping record podcasts in our audio studio.
- What tasks will learners need to complete to achieve the project goal?

The successful candidate will be able to learn with hands on experience. They must be professional and will be around clients of our company. Ideally they are a quick learner and have critical thinking skills to help troubleshoot issues as they arise. Some tasks are helping to move and set up cinema gear, helping PA with projects, helping with different jobs around the studio. Help us stay organized with gear and rentals.

- How will you support learners in completing the project?

The president of the Film Factory will be onsite and training the successful candidate. Our president has over 26 years full time in the media/Film/TV industry and is happy to answer questions and make sure the candidate has a great experience.
- What skills or technologies will help learners to complete the project?
-
Computer skills on Mac or Windows a must. Ideally experience with video editing software. Davinci Resolve is proffered. Using a still or video camera is a huge asset. Knowing different crew positions of film making an asset. Any schooling like film school or doing a media studies at a post secondary is encouraged. Strong listener that can handle instructions and details.
