- What is the main goal for this project?

We would like students to help us with creating content that is aligned with our brand. We will ensure the student has a clear understanding of what these elements are for our organization.
Sledge Distillery is a family operated distillery hand-crafting moonshines, whiskeys and bourbons according to a family tradition and World War II recipe. Our clientele is 30-60 year olds with higher incomes. As they feel more comfortable moving to IG and TikTok, we see a need to meet them on those platforms with video based content. The owner, Susan Sledge, isn't as comfortable with video content and the strategy behind getting followers as she has been with stagnant images.
Ultimately, you will be working on content creation for our organization, including video, social media, and other collateral that we can use as go-to marketing tools.

To accomplish this, we expect the student(s) will:
- Create social media video based content to promote the distillery, our products, and our events
- Evaluate recent successful user-generated campaigns, preferably in our sector
- Help us with a schedule that we can maintain and a formula to create content to keep it going.

The owner of the company, Susan Sledge, will work directly with students through email and online meetings. Susan has 10 years experience in higher education working with students and understands the demands of projects.
- What skills or technologies will help learners to complete the project?

A student or team with excellent writing and video skills would be the ideal candidate for this project. Also a mindset of creating something that is sustainable for us to continue.

The Sledge family has been in Hood County for generations and it is common to be asked "now, who do you belong to?". Family gatherings at the creek were major social events. One driving force behind our spirits is a deep love for family, friends, and country. When you step foot in the distillery, it is obvious this is a group of friends with deep Granbury roots choosing to work together for fun. It translates into our products, the atmosphere of events, and the way we approach hosting private parties. None of us have to do this, we choose to. Once you have been to the distillery, you are folded in with the rest of us - distillery family - it's just the way it is! When you come visit, you will be treated as friends upon arrival, but when you leave, expect a big hug knowing you are family.
