The goal of this project is to design and develop a prototype for an online trading platform that connects local suppliers with local buyers. The platform will facilitate efficient transactions between local businesses, encouraging sustainable practices and supporting the local economy. Learners will apply their knowledge of web development, user interface design, and database management to create a user-friendly and functional prototype. The project will involve tasks such as designing the platform's architecture, developing key features like supplier and buyer profiles, and implementing a basic transaction system. By the end of the project, learners will have gained practical experience in developing an online platform with a focus on sustainability.

The deliverables for this project include a functional prototype of the online trading platform, complete with user registration and login features, supplier and buyer profiles, and a basic transaction system. Additionally, learners will provide a project report detailing the design process, challenges faced, and solutions implemented. The final presentation will showcase the platform's features and demonstrate its potential impact on reducing carbon emissions through local trade.
