What is the main goal for this project?

Do you like staying on top of the latest news, trends and and up and coming talent? We would love to put your talent to use. Brothers Who Care of looking for a Researcher to help us stay up to date with emerging trends for the key things that we care about and are focusing on at the moment. 1) Health & Wellness with our Mental Health Hour; 2) Mentoring & Development with the I SEE ME project; 3) Financial Security with the Secure Our Wealth LEGUP project and; 4) Leadership Development with the Care Leadership Development I AM Project.

You will be asked to:

1. Develop a speaker database of individuals that we can connect with, engage and collaborate to deliver key messages to our audience

2. Identify emerging trends in the areas of focus

3. Bring to light news, stories that are relevant to our vision and programs

What tasks will learners need to complete to achieve the project goal?

To be successful as a researcher, you should be resourceful, and demonstrate excellent time management and patience. Outstanding researchers are passionate about their subject matter and able to meet strict deadlines.

  • Conducting desktop research, and using books, journal articles, newspaper sources, questionnaires, surveys, polls, and interviews to gather data.
  • Recording findings by taking written notes and using appropriate software.
  • Following a strict code of ethics and protecting any confidential information at all times.
  • Use research findings to address problems, predict trends, and solve issues in a particular field.
  • Using research results to write papers, reviews, and reports.
How will you support learners in completing the project?

I am responsible for the daily management through the life cycle of the program. I will help define the program controls, that is the processes, procedures, reporting, etc., to manage the project. I will help to plan the overall program and monitor progress to make sure that milestones are being met across the various projects and programs. I will be available to handle any risks and issues that might and do arise over the course of the program life cycle, as well as take measures to correct them when they occur.
