Project scope

What is the main goal for this project?: The goal is the development of a proof of concept of an IoT system for the collection and recording of biomedical data via connected clothing (to be developed by the company).
The project offers the opportunity to develop different technological skills: embedded systems, mobile application development, systems integration and project management.
What tasks will learners need to complete to achieve the project goal?: Activities
iOS/Android mobile application for the collection of data manually entered by the user and recorded from the reading of the glove sensors (the application feed will be provided by the sponsor)
Localization English/French
Use of BLE protocol, UART communication
Embedded system for reading and transmitting data to the application/server
Mobile application/server communication (Azure)
Validation of circuit of microelectronic components (specifications to be provided by the company)

How will you support learners in completing the project?: We will provide all specifications and requirements from technical and design needs. We are committed to provide 10h/week for support and mentoring. We also have Azure cloud credits for cloud services.
