ViaSkill is an AI-powered career growth platform that helps professionals track their real-world achievements, uncover skill gaps, and generate personalized resumes, portfolios, and learning plans. Our mission is to make career growth proactive, not reactive—especially for people who feel stuck, overlooked, or uncertain about how to tell their professional story.

We’re looking to collaborate with a student team to create a 6–8 minute institutional video that powerfully tells the story of ViaSkill: the problem we solve, the people we serve, and how we’re using AI to help professionals grow with clarity and confidence.

This video will serve as both a brand storytelling asset and a reflection of our founding vision—something we can share on our website, social media, and in investor or partner pitches.

This project will involve several steps, including:

• Conducting background research on our product, audience, and vision
• Using AI tools (e.g., storyboard generators, transcript summarizers, visual planning aids) to shape the creative direction
• Interviewing our founder (Grace Cupat) and optionally simulating user stories or testimonials
• Capturing platform walkthroughs, screen recordings, or visualizations
• Producing a well-paced, emotionally resonant 6–8 minute video with clean edits, music, titles, and transitions

🛠 What tasks will learners need to complete to achieve the project goal?

By the end of the project, students will:

• Understand ViaSkill’s mission, user personas, and product features
• Align video structure and tone with our brand goals and messaging
• Use AI tools to support pre-production (e.g., for storyboarding, visual planning, or scripting)
• Record and edit professional-quality video content, including interviews, B-roll, and UI visuals
• Apply best practices in pacing, sound, motion graphics, and visual storytelling
• Deliver a high-impact, emotionally engaging 6–8 minute video suitable for use in public-facing channels

📦 Final deliverables should include:

• One polished 6–8 minute video, exported in a high-resolution format suitable for web and social
• A short write-up or production brief explaining the creative choices, structure, and tools used
• Any editable assets, subtitles, or project files (if applicable)
• (Optional) Social media teaser clips or still frames for promotion

🤝 How will you support learners in completing the project?

Students will have direct access to Grace Cupat, ViaSkill’s founder and CEO, for guidance throughout the process.

We will provide:

• A 30-minute kickoff call with creative direction, brand tone, and narrative goals
• Access to platform screenshots or demo footage
• Our brand kit (logo, colors, fonts) and optional user personas
• A recorded or live founder interview for use in the video
• Timely feedback on storyboards, drafts, and final edits

• Skill in aligning video storytelling with brand tone and emotional resonance
• Professional production and editing techniques, including interview framing, audio balancing, transitions, captions, and music selection
• Effective communication and creative direction alignment with a real-world startup client

Final deliverables should include:

• A professionally produced 6–8 minute institutional video that tells the ViaSkill story in an engaging, audience-aware way
• A short production brief explaining the creative direction and any AI tools used in planning or editing
• Exported video file(s) in a high-resolution web-friendly format (e.g., MP4 1080p)
• (Optional) Raw assets or working files for future editing
• (Optional) Social-ready teaser clip(s) or static thumbnails
• This video will serve as a real-world brand asset for ViaSkill and a showcase-worthy project for the students' portfolios.
