Our company would like to explore re-designing our current website with a prototype focused on increasing engagement and conversion. We are always on the lookout for innovative and fresh UI and UX ideas that will help our audience.

This will involve:

• Conducting background research on our existing web application for the product. We are happy to provide a walkthrough and other resources to help bring them up to speed.
• Identifying key areas of our current website and what areas of focused might return the best results in a redesign.
• Learning and using various software design tools. We are building on the Shopify platform.
• Conducting UX / UI split testing with real users.

By the end of the project, students should complete the following list of activities:

• Familiarize themselves with our existing product
• Familiarize themselves with a design tool of their choosing and understand how it works.
• Design and build inside of the design tool all the needed screens for a redesigned prototype of our product, primarily home/product/about pages.
• Present the final design screens to us with the context of all their choices they made, problems they encountered, and next steps they recommend.

Bonus steps would include:

• Conducting any sort of live split testing and providing feedback

Final deliverables should include

• The design screens and all assets in a shareable and implementable format (ready to publish)
• A presentation as stated above of the final designs
