✅ What is the main goal for this project?

ViaSkill is an AI-powered platform designed to help professionals take control of their careers—whether or not they’re actively job searching. We give users the tools to track achievements, uncover skill gaps, and generate personalized resumes, portfolios, and growth plans.

But too often, people confuse us with generic resume builders or job boards.

We want to work with students to create a short, engaging awareness video that clearly communicates what ViaSkill is—and what it’s not.

The goal of this project is to:

• Drive awareness of ViaSkill’s core purpose: empowering career growth through reflection, personalization, and AI-powered tools
• Clarify common misconceptions (e.g., we’re not just a job search platform)
• Highlight the emotional and practical benefits of using ViaSkill

The video should be no longer than 30 seconds, designed for social platforms like LinkedIn, Instagram, or YouTube Shorts.

🛠 What tasks will learners need to complete to achieve the project goal?

Students will:

• Familiarize themselves with the ViaSkill platform, mission, and core differentiators
• Brainstorm creative directions for the awareness video, including tone (inspiring, witty, punchy)
• Script and storyboard a 30-second video
• Source or create visuals (stock footage, simple animation, screen captures) and add background music or effects
• Edit the final video with text overlays, transitions, and subtitles for accessibility
• (Bonus) Create a second variation for a different platform or audience segment
• (Bonus) Propose tools or techniques ViaSkill can use to produce additional videos going forward

Students will connect directly with Grace Cupat, ViaSkill’s founder, for mentorship throughout the project.

Support will include:

• A 30-minute kickoff call to walk through the platform, tone, and goals
• Links to product demo videos, sample branding, and user feedback
• Timely feedback on script and visual concepts
• Clear approvals and editing checkpoints throughout the production process
