The goal is to create a structured leadership development program that empowers these entrepreneurs to effectively lead their ventures and contribute to peacebuilding efforts. The program should integrate principles of leadership, conflict resolution, and peacebuilding, providing participants with practical tools and strategies. The project involves researching best practices in leadership development, particularly in the context of peacebuilding, and tailoring these to the needs of entrepreneurs. The team will design a curriculum that includes workshops, mentorship opportunities, and experiential learning activities. This initiative aims to bridge the gap between theoretical knowledge and practical application, ensuring that entrepreneurs are well-equipped to lead with empathy, resilience, and strategic vision.
The deliverables for this project include a comprehensive leadership development curriculum tailored for peacebuilding entrepreneurs. This will encompass a detailed program outline, including session topics, learning objectives, and proposed activities. Additionally, the team will create a resource guide for facilitators, ensuring the program can be effectively implemented. A pilot session plan will also be developed to test the program's effectiveness and gather feedback for refinement.

Our name comes from the Hawaiian word 'Pono' which means balance and righteousness. In Hawaiian when you put two words beside each other, their meaning is deepened or emphasized. Thus 'Pono Pono' extends Pono to a deeper level and reminds us that to have Pono Pono peace it is not enough to avoid conflict or do right; we need to do more to create peace! It is not enough to remove the weeds; we must plant the flowers and food of peace.
Pono Pono is a call to be a positive influence in the world wherever we are.
