predictive modeling strategic decision making statistics data analysis predictive analyticsThe project aims to leverage predictive regression models to identify key tipping points in user engagement, campus ambassador activity, and social media posts that lead to successful matches on Callisto's platform. The primary goal is to determine the optimal levels of engagement required at different scales—individual schools, clusters of schools, or at the state level—to Increase matches. By analyzing historical data, the project will explore patterns and correlations that can inform strategic decisions for matches. This project provides an opportunity for learners to apply their knowledge of data analysis, statistics, and predictive modeling in a real-world context. The outcome will help Callisto optimize its engagement strategies and improve overall platform effectiveness.
The deliverables for this project include a comprehensive report detailing the findings of the predictive analysis, including identified tipping points and recommended engagement strategies. Additionally, a presentation summarizing key insights and actionable recommendations will be prepared. The team will also provide a set of visualizations that illustrate the relationship between engagement activities and matches. These deliverables will equip Callisto with data-driven insights to enhance their platform's performance.
Scheduled check-ins to discuss progress, address challenges, and provide feedback.

About the company
Callisto is a national nonprofit organization that leverages cutting-edge technology to empower survivors of sexual violence. Callisto’s encrypted platform enables campus survivors to securely document their assault, discover if their perpetrator has harmed others, and explore their options, whether or not they report. This not only helps survivors process their experience, but also increases the likelihood that serial perpetrators will be held accountable. Anyone in the U.S. and its territories with an active .edu email address has free access to Callisto Vault. This includes about 17 million students and another 4 million staff and faculty members.
