- What is the main goal for this project?

The main goal for the project is to integrate a Payment Gateway API (hosted checkout) of Ayden, Moneris, First Data into the existing AppmaxCare software developed by Appmax Technologies Inc. This will involve several different steps for the learners, including:
- Understanding the functionality and requirements of the Payment Gateway API.
- Integrating the API into the software to enable hosted checkout for seamless payment processing. The integration should be on par with the current integration of Stripe, Square, Authorize.net, PayPal etc.
- Coding must be done in the framework/technology stack used by AppmaxCare
- Testing the integration to ensure it is functioning properly and securely within the software environment.
- Providing documentation and training for AppmaxCare users on how to use the integrated Payment Gateway API.
- What tasks will learners need to complete to achieve the project goal?

By the end of the project, learners should complete the following tasks:
- Successfully integrate the Payment Gateway API into the AppmaxCare software.

In order to successfully complete this project, learners should have the following skills:
- Proficiency with PHP Laravel, JavaScript, Ajax etc..
- Proficiency in software development and API integration.
- Understanding of payment processing and security protocols.
- Knowledge of cloud-based software and SaaS platforms.
- Ability to create user-friendly documentation and training materials.
Nice to have skills for learners include:
- Experience with healthcare software and compliance regulations.
- Familiarity with HIPAA/PHI compliance standards.
- Previous experience with integrating payment gateways.
