Project scope
What is the main goal for this project?

The main goal of this project is to develop a comprehensive marketing strategy for SOMA Success Coaching Collective's coaching program designed to help Canadians invest in multifamily properties. This will involve several different steps for the students, including:


- Conducting market research to understand the target audience and their needs. This would include students getting on calls with target audience to understand them.


- Developing a branding and positioning strategy for the coaching program.


- Creating a multi-channel marketing plan including digital, social media, and traditional marketing methods.


- Designing promotional materials and content for the coaching program. Create specific hooks and content prompts to help speak to our target audience's desires and pain points.


- Develop a lead magnet and landing page that is highly targeted to our ideal client and helps them solve their first problem. Target: 30%+ conversion on landing page.


- Developing a lead generation and conversion strategy to attract potential clients.


- Review current sales page and track analytics/traffic. Improve traffic and conversion rates for applications & booking calls.


- Analyzing and optimizing the marketing strategy based on feedback and results.


What tasks will learners need to complete to achieve the project goal?


By the end of the project, students should complete the following list of activities:


- A comprehensive market research report outlining the target audience, their needs, and the competitive landscape.


- A branding and positioning strategy for the coaching program including a unique value proposition.


- A multi-channel marketing plan with detailed strategies for digital, social media, and traditional marketing.


- Promotional materials and content such as an appropriate lead magnet, social media posts, and website copy.


- A lead generation and conversion strategy with a focus on attracting potential clients and converting them into customers.


- An analysis of the marketing strategy's performance and recommendations for optimization.



Final deliverables:


- A detailed marketing strategy document outlining all the above deliverables and strategies, including deep analysis of target client's concerns, pain points, desires and transformations they need to make.


- Lead magnet and landing page created and tested for success and attracting leads.


- 10-20 posts for social media content (reels, carousels) speaking to our ideal clients and following the marketing strategy.


- A presentation explaining the research, strategies, data and next recommendations.


How will you support learners in completing the project?

I have worked with several student interns over the years and take pride in being an accessible and supportive mentor. Learners will have direct access to me, as well as my team's time and guidance. We also have an existing business so we have a lot of tools and technology and assets to share and give great experience and overview to the student.


Students will connect directly with us for mentorship throughout the project. We will be able to provide answers to questions such as:

  • What general topics do we hope to cover in social media?
  • Who are our ideal clients and where can we find them?
  • What are we currently doing to generate leads?
  • Input on choices, problems or anything else the students might encounter.


I love creating win-win experiences with students in our business and am committed to supporting this process as a mentor.

About the company

We serve the Canadian Millennial who’s looking for real freedom: freedom of how they spend their time, who they spend time with, location freedom, and the financial freedom to make it all happen. And they want to use real estate as a tool to create passive income, generational wealth and financial freedom.

Our clients have listened to real estate podcasts, read books and maybe even taken a real estate course (or two), but have yet to figure out how to actually execute on the information. They lack the confidence and knowledge to choose the best strategy for themselves, find a market, analyze deals, build their team, manage their properties (especially from afar), and struggle to get out of their own way to make it happen.

Maybe they’ve purchased their own home, inherited or even purchased an investment property or two. They see the potential in real estate investing and believe in it… but feel overwhelmed by all the different strategies, “experts” and information out there. They want to feel confident with their investment strategy and investment decisions, have a solid action plan to grow their portfolio and income, and want someone to walk beside them (and maybe even hold their hand a little) through their first - or next - few real estate deals.
