Entertainment News & Pop Culture is seeking a team of creative and innovative learners to develop a visually stunning and editorially sharp two-week digital content series. The goal is to create engaging content that feels like a magazine and is tailored for platforms such as Instagram, YouTube Shorts, and LinkedIn. The project will focus on themes like Community Culture, Spotlight Stories, Nostalgia & Now, and Behind-the-Scenes. This initiative provides an opportunity for learners to apply their classroom knowledge in digital media, content creation, and social media strategy. The project aims to elevate the voice of Peach Pop Five! by producing content that resonates with a socially conscious audience and showcases the platform's unique perspective on pop culture.
Deliverables:
- A two-week content calendar with captions, visuals (static + short video), and hashtags
- 6–8 magazine-style social media posts (carousels, reels, or stories)
- 2–3 pop culture short-form video scripts or reels (60 sec or less)
- A short wrap-up report reflecting performance goals or suggested engagement strategy
Learning Opportunities:
- Develop content aligned with editorial voice and digital branding
- Explore creative formats that balance news, culture, and visual media
- Gain feedback from a media professional and refine real-world skills
- Get published and credited on a rising entertainment platform
Ideal Candidate(s):
- Strong writing and visual storytelling skills
- Passionate about entertainment, culture, and community narratives
- Experience with Canva, Adobe, CapCut, or similar tools
- Familiarity with Instagram Reels, TikTok, and YouTube Shorts
Sharing knowledge in specific technical skills, techniques, methodologies required for the project.
Providing access to necessary tools, software, and resources required for project completion.
