VOICE for Children Who are Deaf & Hard of Hearing is seeking to enhance its funding opportunities through effective grant writing. The project aims to equip learners with the skills to research, identify, and develop grant proposals that align with VOICE's mission and objectives. Students will apply their classroom knowledge of communication, research, and writing to craft compelling grant proposals. The project will involve understanding the needs of the organization, identifying potential funding sources, and tailoring proposals to meet the specific requirements of each grant opportunity. This project provides a practical experience in grant writing, allowing learners to contribute to a meaningful cause while honing their professional skills.

Deliverables

The deliverables for this project will include a portfolio of at least three completed grant proposals, each tailored to a specific funding opportunity. Additionally, students will provide a report summarizing the research process, including a list of potential funding sources and a rationale for their selection. The final deliverables will demonstrate the students' ability to apply their skills in a real-world context, showcasing their understanding of grant writing and their ability to support VOICE's mission.
