Our company designs and builds solutions for the Elderly. Our sub-specialty is in hygiene products that are designed for seniors.
We would like to collaborate with students to solve product shortcomings or help design new solutions within our core product mix.

Develop answers to questions like...
-How to reduce water consumption in a walk-in bathtub while allowing for safe entry and a positive experience?
-How to fill a bathtub fast? What can be used or designed to fill the tub within a couple of minutes?
-How to design a door that swings outward, and maintains watertight. What variables must be considered?

- What tasks will learners need to complete to achieve the project goal?

By the end of the project, students should demonstrate:
- Familiarity with our goals, products, and services
- Creation and updating of drawings and sketches.
- Documentation of design choices and component functions
- Basic CAD design
- Functional design consideration.
Bonus steps would include:
- Developing ideas for future design.
Final deliverables should include
- A final report.
- Completed concept CAD designs
- A presentation. including idea process, analysis, considerations, and final recommendation.

In order to complete this project, students can self-teach, but it is beneficial to be familiar with:
- Prototyping and CAD

Again, students can complete this project without any of the prior knowledge listed here. Students will be expected to research and learn more about the above as the project goes along.
