- What is the main goal for this project?

Looking for students to discover and interview people who have studied, interned, worked, or taught overseas. As part of the 2014 White House Summit on Global Citizenship and Study Abroad, we’ve published over a thousand profiles of people with international experiences. Usually, this is done in the format of email interviews. However, if a student has the desire or expertise to create video interviews, or in a podcast format, we can work together to find a way to create such content and showcase the student’s skills in this area.
Students with excellent writing skills and an interest in international experiences and cultures would be ideal candidates for this project.
Students will receive an editorship on our site specific to their research area, authorship credit for all articles published, and mentoring/recommendation letters surrounding their topic.
- What tasks will learners need to complete to achieve the project goal?

Tasks will include:
- Discussion of topical synergy between our website and your academic/research goals
- Research/write specific international experiences articles, as assigned
- Write articles that are both academic in nature and general-reader friendly
- Other tasks, including social media, photo sourcing, and keyword research for high-volume, evergreen traffic
