Social Media Marketing
Council On Aging of Elkhart County (COA) is seeking an intern for Social Media Marketing. COA relates to several audiences. The intern will use a variety of social media applications to market COA to these audiences.
One component of the work for the intern involves research.
Become acquainted with COA audiences.
What social media applications do these people currently use?
Become acquainted with COA goals.
Compile a list of all social media platforms which could be relevant to COA.
A second component concerns posting information.
Post new information to social media applications which COA already uses.
Delete old information from these same applications.
The third component involves record keeping and reporting.
Keep a folder for each social media application.
Include login information, list of posts sent out, and results.
Make weekly reports to COA management.
COA needs a knowledgeable, reliable, and self-starter student to assist our agency. The intern will participate in a team which improves the lives of senior citizens. They also will build a portfolio of achievements in the real world of work.
Social Media Marketing major within an accredited Business Administration program or Communications major with significant Social Media experience. Nonprofit management majors will also be considered.
