At Ruh, we are innovating in the field of Psychology and Mental Health, creating a unique intersection between Psychology, Faith (Islam) and Technology. The intern will have a unique opportunity to contribute and communicate the expansion of the field of Psychology with the world, helping make mental health support available to millions online.

We are looking for our next outreach and social media ninja! If you have the social bug and constantly find yourself looking for the next social trend, laughing out loud at the latest memes, and love creating/ promoting wholesome and impactful content while building a passionate community, this internship is tailor-made for you!

What an ideal candidate for the role looks like:

• Proficient in social media platforms (TikTok, Instagram, Linkedin, Facebook) and Social media insights
• Experience with Canva and/or graphic design
• Experience with Marketing platforms and automation tools (i.e. Hubspot), an asset

Deliverables (depending on your expertise, one of the following will be applicable):

• At least four well-written blog posts
• At least 20 social media content graphics created
• At least 5 reels created

Responsibilities

• Help with the Ramadan Challenge outreach in in-person events
• Come up with fun, visually appealing content ideas for our social platforms and newsletter
• Producing content for social media and other marketing events
• Work alongside the team to create a monthly plan for social media strategies;
• Assist in the growth of the brand by raising awareness through various social media platforms;
• Monitor postings to ensure the brand message is constant from the terminology used to images posted;
• Interact with followers, potential customers, and candidates by communicating and answering questions through the company's social pages;
• Assist in implementing plans to increase followers on Facebook, LinkedIn, and Instagram;
• Help create content as dictated by the monthly editorial calendar.
• The intern will have a good amount of responsibility for the work they do. We will help you grow from day 1 by treating you as part of our team and not just as an intern.
