What is the main goal for this project?

The main goal for the project is to develop and test features related to collecting and processing payments with a mobile robot. The project will involve working within an existing integration platform and will require Android development experience.


Android development experience is a must, and a keen desire on exploring new and uncharted engineering problems is key!


What tasks will learners need to complete to achieve the project goal?


- Analyzing the existing integration platform and understanding the requirements for payment processing with a mobile robot.


- Developing and testing features related to collecting and processing payments with the mobile robot.


- Integrating the payment processing features with the existing platform and ensuring seamless functionality.


- Conducting thorough testing of the developed features and making necessary improvements based on the test results.


How will you support learners in completing the project?

Supporting Advance Ontario 80 hour intern Program.

Support will be from experienced robotics executives, and the University of Waterloo RoboHub team.

What skills or technologies will help learners to complete the project?


Skills needed to successfully complete the project:


- Android development experience


- Knowledge of payment processing systems


- Experience with integration platforms


- Testing and debugging skills


- Familiarity with mobile robotics and sensors
