Hi, my name is Andrew. I am a Boom Operator working at GXYZ Radio. As a Boom Operator, I am an important member of the sound department in television, film, and radio production. My primary responsibility is to capture premium-quality sound on the set with the help of a boom microphone. It is a long pole where the microphone is attached. Additionally, I make sure the microphone is correctly positioned close to the actors and that it does not enter the camera frame. It helps to capture clear sound effects and dialogue.
