Details

Clients who want to hire Canadian freelancers are not engaging through the CoLabourNation website. They come to certain pages but do not contact us or request to be matched with a freelancer. We need to understand why they don't follow through to contact us and what would help them move from awareness to engagement, conversion, and advocacy. The goal of this project is to create a working sales funnel to attract small business owners and non-profit leaders who want to hire Canadian freelancers to help them with their marketing, communication, and administration.

Deliverables

  1. Review past ideal client interviews and client research. Do more client interviews if needed.
  2. Refine ideal client personas.
  3. Review Google Analytics and Hot Jar videos to try and find customer engagement issues.
  4. Review website content and design. Suggest changes to pages based on ideal client information.
  5. Map out customer journey from awareness to engagement, conversion, and advocacy.
  6. Suggest lead generation magnets, drip campaigns and other tactics to convert more people into customers.
  7. Assist with the implementation of a sales funnel.
Mentorship

Students will have access to the founder to ask questions.

They will also have access to Google Analytics, Hot Jar reports, social media analytics.

The project and tasks along with assets will be stored in Asana. We will use the Asana messaging system to communicate about tasks so all information is in one place.

Community Justice Initiatives (CJI) is a non-profit organization known world-wide for starting the first modern Restorative Justice program.

Restorative Justice is a way of addressing conflict and crime that engages the person who caused the harm, people who were affected by the harm, and the community.

During our 40+ year history, we have continuously responded to community needs by creatively and innovatively applying restorative justice principles to new problems. We believe the only limit to the power of restorative justice is the capacity of the human heart to change and grow.

We provide conflict resolution services, support for people impacted by sexual trauma, assistance for families involved with child protection, reintegration support for adults returning to the community from prison or custody, and integration support for new Canadian youth.

Our restorative justice programs are offered in Cambridge, Kitchener, Waterloo, Guelph, and the rest of the Waterloo Region and Wellington County in Ontario, Canada. Through research, speaking opportunities, and written resources our influence is global.
