Project scope
What is the main goal for this project?

We would love to be recognised in the community and beyond our community in which we operate. We would like to encourage youths and inform them of our great program geared specially toward them. We have such great information and stories and would love them to be picked up by media outlets . We need students to create press release for us.

Students should be prepared to:

  • Help us refine our story to something news worthy.
  • Write press releases about our programs and other news worthy stories.
  • Help identify media outlets that are the most beneficial to us or most likely to pick up our story.
  • Send press releases to these medias and establish rapport with them.
  • Secure media exposure for our organisation.
What tasks will learners need to complete to achieve the project goal?

The final deliverables should take the form of:

  • Press releases should be ready to be publish.
  • Have ready a list of media outlets that can be a partner along with their contacts.
  • In communication with those media outlets and conversations underway promoting press release.
