The Africa-Canada Education Foundation (ACEF) is seeking innovative strategies to raise $350,000 for the renovation and operation of the Africanada Centre Vision Studios. This project aims to empower BIPOC artists by providing them with a state-of-the-art facility for artistic expression and community engagement. The Africanada Centre will serve as a vibrant hub for Black Canadians in British Columbia, offering programs in photography, video production, music, and digital literacy. The challenge is to develop a comprehensive fundraising campaign that resonates with potential donors and effectively communicates the Centre's mission and impact. Learners will apply their knowledge of marketing, communications, and fundraising to create a strategic plan that aligns with ACEF's vision of inclusivity and cultural empowerment.
