What is the main goal for this project?

Our organization is looking for a team of 3 students to work together to achieve our goals.

Project Scope

To develop a Strategic Marketing Plan for the Recreation Department at Fanshawe College.

Primary Focus

-Conduct an audit of our current social media presence and marketing strategy

-Recommend changes to advertising and PR materials; create an integrated marketing campaign

-Develop and implement strategies for improving our online presence and increasing engagement

-Create a content calendar and useable social media templates.

Our goal at the end of this experience?

To have a comprehensive Marketing Strategic Plan with a calendar of dates for execution and some graphic templates to assist in our efforts. To improve our online presence, reach more customers and effectively promote the programs we have on campus through compelling content.

How will you support learners in completing the project?

I am available most times of the day and week to have virtual meetings or to answer questions. I can provide history and leadership for the overall Recreation Department, but would rely heavily on students with Marketing backgrounds to recommend and develop the plan.

Fanshawe College, under a partnership agreement with the Fanshawe College Student Union, competes in selected intercollegiate sports within the Ontario Colleges Athletic Association (O.C.A.A.) and the Canadian Collegiate Athletic Association (C.C.A.A.). Under the same agreement the college operates an extensive recreation program involving thousands of student athletes
