Idea Marketing is looking to expand its digital presence by improving search engine rankings and enhancing website content. To achieve this, we aim to create high-quality, SEO-optimized articles and service pages that align with our brand and outperform competitors. Additionally, we want to refine existing content by identifying SEO opportunities, internal linking improvements, and better user engagement strategies.
This project will help strengthen our website’s visibility, drive organic traffic, and improve overall search engine performance.
Tasks & Activities:
Students will be responsible for the following tasks:
• Keyword Research & Competitor Analysis:
• Research the top 5-10 competitor pages for each assigned keyword.
• Identify the best-performing content strategies and extract key takeaways.
• Explore Google’s “People Also Ask” section and related search queries to determine frequently asked questions for the topic.
• Content Creation & SEO Optimization:
• Write new service pages and blog posts using the provided keyword and topic.
• Ensure content is well-researched, engaging, and optimized for search engines.
• Structure content with headings, bullet points, and clear sections for readability.
• Include internal links where relevant and suggest linking opportunities.
• Image Sourcing & Branding:
• Source or create high-quality images that align with Idea Marketing’s brand.
• Ensure images are relevant to the content and enhance readability.
• Website Content Review & Optimization:
• Audit existing website content for improvements in clarity, SEO, and structure.
• Identify any missing internal linking opportunities and provide recommendations.
• Suggest improvements to align content with SEO best practices.
Deliverables:
• SEO-optimized articles and service pages (minimum one per assigned keyword).
• List of FAQs based on research to be added to each page.
• Internal linking recommendations for new and existing content.
• Image sourcing or creation for each content piece.
• Content improvement report with insights and suggestions for optimizing existing pages.
- This project is ideal for students with an interest in SEO, content marketing, and digital strategy. While AI can be used for assistance, all content must be refined and polished to maintain a high standard of quality that aligns with Idea Marketing’s existing website.

Final Deliverables:
1. Competitor Research Report – A document containing:
• Analysis of the top-ranking pages for each provided keyword.
• A summary of key strategies, structures, and best practices observed.
• A list of frequently asked questions (FAQs) related to the keyword.
2. SEO-Optimized Website Content – Completed drafts of:
• At least one new service page or blog article per assigned keyword.
• Content structured for readability, engagement, and SEO performance.
