Details

The objective of this project is to develop a targeted, AI-enhanced strategy for identifying and qualifying angel investors who are aligned with Go Together’s mission and growth stage. By combining the advanced filters of LinkedIn Sales Navigator with PitchBook data and AI-powered research prompts, students will help create a system to surface high-probability investor leads who have funded similar mobility, edtech, or civic infrastructure solutions.

Project goal

Learners are expected to build and test an investor discovery engine that uses AI prompts to automate investor profile matching, analyze behavioral patterns, and generate personalized outreach content. This tool will increase Go Together’s capital-raising efficiency during its current funding round.

What are learners expected to complete?

Students will complete the following tasks:

  • Research and define ideal investor profiles based on prior investments, thesis alignment, and geographic or industry focus.
  • Use PitchBook to identify relevant angel investors and early-stage funds.
  • Leverage LinkedIn Sales Navigator to filter and validate investor data.
  • Develop AI prompts to generate tailored outreach messaging (e.g., personalized cold emails or InMails).
  • Evaluate success metrics for outreach and recommend optimization strategies.

Deliverables

Expected outcomes:

  • Streamline investor discovery through AI prompt engineering and data filtering leveraging LinkedIn and PitchBook
  • Improve investor fit by aligning with funding history, thesis, and stage.
  • Develop messaging that resonates with investors based on their public presence and prior investments.

Expected deliverables:

  • Investor Persona Guide including key traits, patterns, and deal signals.
  • AI Prompt Toolkit for personalized outreach messaging via email or LinkedIn.
  • Shortlist of 300 qualified investor leads with full profiles.
  • Summary report with investor segmentation, targeting rationale, and outreach strategy.
  • Final presentation summarizing process, findings, and recommendations.

Every school district in North America is barreling toward a transportation cliff. The crisis is here: bus driver shortages are permanent, costs are skyrocketing, and electrification—while essential—doesn’t solve the core problem. There is no second wave of drivers. And without a new approach, kids won’t get to school—and districts will pay the price in attendance, funding, and community trust.

Go Together is the breakthrough. We’re transforming how students get to and from school—faster, safer, and at 50% the cost of traditional transportation. Our platform activates the power already in every school community: parents, caregivers, neighbors—people who want kids to succeed but need the tools to show up.

Founded by Charles King and me, Go Together isn’t waiting for the system to fix itself. We’re already partnering with school districts and individual schools to modernize how students move—by enabling vetted, community-based carpooling, walking, biking, and even public transit options through a digital platform built for scale.

This is a mission-critical moment. Every day a child misses school due to transportation is a lost opportunity—and a data point pushing a district further behind. Go Together is ready. The market is demanding it. The time is now.
