- What is the main goal for this project?

RacerX is seeking help developing an entire program for sponsorship sales and securing marketing partnerships for our eCommerce marketplace for motorsports to be deployed worldwide.
As a global platform for motorsports RacerX will have extensive need for sponsorships for special events, race teams, race series, racetrack facilities, entertainment venues, virtual tradeshow and clients seeking corporate partnerships. *Plus our own Sprint car race team and RacerX brand.
Students may help us understand how our organization can meet the business objectives of potential partners, conduct background research on select organizations and create customized professional proposal templates, scoring models and qualification requirements to identify complimentary brands
and how to correctly value and price sponsorships.
This students will deliver the following in 4 phases.
Phase 1 - Property Analysis: Students shall conduct analysis of our property and target market, audience characteristics (e.g. size, engagement, viewership, followers, loyalty, etc.), available assets/inventory, and current environment (SWOT, environmental analysis, trends, etc.).
Phase 2 – Target Company Analysis: Students shall research a potential partner gathering data and information required to appeal to a corporate partner(s) and provide a partnership analysis to identify beneficial partnership opportunities for our organization.
Phase 3 – Partnership Proposal: A review of our property and examination of a prospective corporate partner and develop a comprehensive and professional partnership package to present to the prospective partner company they researched during their target company analysis.
Phase 4 – Partnership Meeting: Students shall present their proposal to our organization and we shall evaluate what they present to identify if it’s a good fit for our business and if it achieves our marketing objectives thru Q & A session on Zoom or MS Teams.
Phase 5 - Post-report: Students shall complete a post-event report on how the partnership / sponsorship went since they will be offered opportunity to deploy their work on a live project. As the partnership will can be executed in the time frame provided students will resolve some of the challenges and opportunities of the partnership and how to best report to a client. This report can be used as a template for our asset / property.
