Project scope
What is the main goal for this project?

The main goal of this project is to assist the web development team in creating a content asset inventory for Transition Salt Spring's (TSS) website and entering content into the development WordPress site.


By the end of the project the student will have helped map out our current assets to our new website architecture and identify gaps where content is needed.



What tasks will learners need to complete to achieve the project goal?
  • Review website strategy document
  • Review the revised site architecture
  • Review current content assets on the existing website
  • Review assets from our social media accounts (Facebook, Instagram, YouTube)
  • Review strategic documents, including our Climate Report Card and Climate Action Plan
  • Work with the internal team to create a spreadsheet with a list of content assets that map to the new site architecture
  • Help to categorize and tag content
  • Make suggestions for content enrichment (integration of content from our YouTube channel, testimonials etc)
  • Enter text into Wordpress templates
