githubThe main goal of this project is to document our code base in GitHub so our US and offshore teams can do web and mobile app updates, bug fixes. This will involve several different steps for the learners, including:
- Analyzing our existing code base and understanding the structure of our code.
- Documenting our code base in GitHub with clear and concise instructions.
- Creating a system for tracking and updating our code base.
- Developing a system for tracking bug fixes and updates.
- Testing the system for accuracy and reliability.
By the end of the project, learners should demonstrate:
- Understanding of our existing code base and structure.
- Ability to document code base in GitHub with clear and concise instructions.
- Creation of a system for tracking and updating our code base.
- Development of a system for tracking bug fixes and updates.
- Testing of the system for accuracy and reliability.
Final deliverables should include:
- All source code.
- A written report explaining the design process and outcomes.
We have project team leaders and an advising CTO to get started, conduct regular touchpoint, responsive to answers questions via slack. We’ll provide tools needed to successfully complete.

About the company
Every school district in North America is barreling toward a transportation cliff. The crisis is here: bus driver shortages are permanent, costs are skyrocketing, and electrification—while essential—doesn’t solve the core problem. There is no second wave of drivers. And without a new approach, kids won’t get to school—and districts will pay the price in attendance, funding, and community trust.
Go Together is the breakthrough. We’re transforming how students get to and from school—faster, safer, and at 50% the cost of traditional transportation. Our platform activates the power already in every school community: parents, caregivers, neighbors—people who want kids to succeed but need the tools to show up.
Founded by Charles King and me, Go Together isn’t waiting for the system to fix itself. We’re already partnering with school districts and individual schools to modernize how students move—by enabling vetted, community-based carpooling, walking, biking, and even public transit options through a digital platform built for scale.
This is a mission-critical moment. Every day a child misses school due to transportation is a lost opportunity—and a data point pushing a district further behind. Go Together is ready. The market is demanding it. The time is now.
