Our Current Challenge:

Our team is looking for a finance/computer science student. This is an excellent opportunity for a student to work on real-world finance projects, and to develop skills in data analytics and strategic analysis.

Project Scope:

• Preparation of a data analytics strategy

The primary project requirements include:

Working under the direction of the CEO and work independently on developing a data analytics assessment and strategy for the company in order to support business decisions and strategy. You will be required to:

1. Determination of what data is required to be collected
2. Determination of how to collect the data
3. Determine how to use the data
4. Develop a strategy for data analysis

Our Desired Outcome:

We’re excited to work with a student who can help us not only brainstorm but also execute a strategy to achieve:

• The development of a non-standard financial quantification model

This is a great project for a student to prove their finance skills, alongside their digital expertise to future employers, as the impact of their work on this project can be easily measured and communicated.

To work well together, and potentially have you as a member of our team in the future as we grow.

I will provide students with the starting plan of the project which will provide direction as the project progresses. I like to have short and frequent updates to ensure that there is no confusion and to provide feedback and guidance along the way. I am a big believer in the only stupid question is the one that is not asked, and I’m happy to share my knowledge and experience.
