- What is the main goal for this project?

- Assist with this manufacturing scale up projects
- Introduce new supporting process activities to reach target quality production capacity
- Introduce and apply various equipment, and methodologies to build a reliable & efficient production (time, labour, and cost)
- Capture and document good manufacturing practices (places, people, processes, and products)
- Provide recommendations for purchase, installation and scaling batches as sales volumes grow
- Review regulatory requirements for the production facility and final products.
ABOUT YOU (INTERN)
You are close to finishing your studies in engineering (manufacturing or industrial engineering preferred) and know how to develop a new manufacturing process and product operation. You have a passion for manufacturing and continuous improvement, have a sharp analytical and mechanical mindset with a desire to apply them toward real manufacturing challenges. You are a great communicator, and have skills to analyze production risks/challenges and give solutions for identified potential problems. You have the ability to conduct production cost studies from the proposed manufacturing scale up process. You are a positive, and extremely motivated and organized individual who can be self-directed in both team-based and individual settings.

You are passionate about entrepreneurship, business strategy, manufacturing and production of new products. You’ve got the education, tools, team and support from your professor to assist us building a successful manufacturing scale up project.
