risk assessment scheduling project planningAbout Us: Tofino Software is an 8-year old Software Solutions provider serving industrial suppliers and their manufacturing customers in the areas of procurement, direct and indirect inventory management, maintenance management and asset optimization. Our origins were based on supplier relationships and the suppliers to sell programs requiring our solutions, for example integrated supply management.
Focus: We are now looking to expand our marketing directly to the manufacturers at an enterprise level. A successful project would be a multi-tiered marketing plan that helped us transition from being represented and limited by the supplier goals to attracting and interfacing more directly with those Companies that are looking for an independent service provider.
Why We're A Compelling Choice: We are an innovative group, extremely open to change. We recognize that though we understand the "nuts and bolts" (literally) of what our customers want, we have not made the progressive changes required by today's dynamic environment. We are willing to provide financial assistance to the team, we are actively looking for interns and/or people to hire that we feel understand our space. We'd love to work with students who have an understanding of the mindset and motivational triggers of our target markets as well as understanding the need to communicate our message simultaneously at the C level and at the "shop floor."
During the 5-week course, the student group will complete ~100 hours of work in order to provide the right plan for your project, including risk assessment and mitigation. This work will be presented in a 10+ page document, accompanied by a 10 minute presentation.
