- What is the main goal for this project?

We are looking for a rockstar team of student developers to help us optimize and launch the Instachew Approckstar
The selected individuals are responsible in assisting the project manager with front end (UI/UX) development, backend development, and QA assurance. This project is longer scaled and will consist of 1-3 months of part time work (20 hours / week)
To accomplish this, we expect the students will:
Front End Developer / UI Designer
- Gather and evaluate user requirements in collaboration with product managers and engineers
- Illustrate design ideas using storyboards, process flows and sitemaps
- Design graphic user interface elements, like menus, tabs and widgets
- Build page navigation buttons and search fields
- Develop UI mockups and prototypes that clearly illustrate how mobile app functions and look like
- Create original graphic designs (e.g. images, sketches and tables)
- Prepare and present rough drafts to internal teams and key stakeholders
- Identify and troubleshoot UX problems (e.g. responsiveness)
- Conduct layout adjustments based on user feedback
- Adhere to style standards on fonts, colors and images
Back End Developer
- Participate in the entire application lifecycle, focusing on coding and debugging
- Write clean code to develop functional mobile applications
- Troubleshoot and debug applications
- Perform UI tests to optimize performance
- Manage cutting-edge technologies to improve legacy applications
- Collaborate with Front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server side logic
- Gather and address technical and design requirements
- Provide training and support to internal teams
- Build reusable code and libraries for future use
- Liaise with developers, designers and system administrators to identify new features
- Follow emerging technologies
QA Specialist
- Identify and document test cases for multi-component systems from requirements.
- Coordinate and communicate with developers on bug fixes and required modifications.
- Execute test cases and document software defects.
- Take ownership of software defects from discovery through to closure.
- Provide Test Summary & Test Exit Reports.
- Assist in project requirements analysis.
