- What is the main goal for this project?

Team should comprise of 2 to 4 students.
Our company’s luxury décor brand is striving for a simplistic, yet stand-out website to convey and delight customers with its unique aesthetics. “Your home’s not a place, it’s a feeling”. Our mission is to invite our customers to bring a serene and elegant energy to their space.
Entrancing Elegance is deeply rooted in muted neutrals, inspired by the painter Giorgio Morandi. See our brand guidance here:

Our store carries products coherent to the brand’s look-and-feel:

We currently carry small pampas grass accents, and are in the process of launching other brand-coherent products, including large pampas grass, nordic vases, bath pillows, and more.
The brand has a large presence on Amazon, but now is the time to solidify an independent market position by having its own website, with the following core tenets:
- Stand-alone delightful visual experience, even if the customer does not shop
- Minimalistic & elegant
- Coherent look-and-feel consistent with the brand guidance aesthetics
- Luxurious feel
We’re excited to work with students who can help us not only design, but also execute a well-designed website with a WOW factor that conveys a luxury, minimalistic vibe.
This is a great project for students to prove their web design and development expertise to future employers, as the impact of their work on this project can be easily seen as a part of their design portfolio.

- How will you support learners in completing the project?

I can provide both technical and entrepreneurial mentorship and supervision. I work as a software engineer for Amazon by day, and in the evenings and weekends I work on my various businesses.

Founded by David, an engineer who's always appreciated the beauty of minimalism, the mission was to help people stay occupied during the lockdown and enjoy the feeling of their homes. David knew that people enjoyed interior design, but choosing the right styles can be daunting. He set out to make it easier and more affordable for everyone to decorate their home, a set of catalogs that was so easy, anyone could do it – even him.
