project planning user experience (ux) design wireframing figma (design software) user interface (ui) design mock ups research auditingTo create an equitable single city ridesharing platform, focused on transparency, flexibility of choice and community empowerment.
For this specific project we aim to create high fidelity mobile app screens, for the user order flow.
- Project Plan- Firstly getting up to speed with the brand and our values, second mapping out the user flow screens and deciding on which screens to focus on, third initial concept designs that we can iterate on. Lastly handoff deliverables (High fidelity screens)
- Review requirements and existing designs- Familiarize themselves with the existing product to understand the requirements, design work, and feedback that already exists, and to identify gaps to be filled in the next stage.
- Co-create designs- taking in all the feedback and working collaboratively to bring to life a prototype flow that can be iterated on before finalizing.
- Finalize- Handoff all deliverables and findings in a package that allows for your work to be easily understood and incorporated into future projects.
[Projects typically include 1-2 deliverables plus design recommendations with wireframes/mock ups as the final deliverable. Examples of possible deliverables are included below – please feel free to expand on the descriptions to fit your specific product/project context and needs]
- Design Audit- audit the current user flow to identify pain points, bottlenecks, and areas for improvement
- Competitive research - analysis of direct or indirect competitors' design strengths and weaknesses, with actionable recommendations
- Redesign and/or redesign recommendations- design improved flows for the distinct user types. Workshop ideas and turn those into wireframes or mockups that show exactly how the solution could work
- Prototype- once high fidelity mockups are complete, create a prototype in Figma that can be used to test and validate the designs
[Note the text included below describes Springboard's requirements for collaboration with a design team. Feel free to add additional ways that you plan to support the team as needed]
- Preparation of any relevant resources and assets in advance of the kick off call
- With a regular weekly check-in call
- Reasonably responsive throughout the collaboration to unsure progress is not blocked.
- Allow the learners to share the work they do for us in job search materials
