Project scope
What is the main goal for this project?

We are looking for a student to help develop and distribute a newsletter that supports our Fashion Business Department for the Field Placement B2B targeting for student placement opportunities.

We think this project will include:

  • Creating a monthly newsletter with helpful information so bands feel inspired, informed and engaged to collaborate with our students and our college program for employment and placement opportunities.
  • Creating and soliciting materials to be published and scheduled in automated system.
  • Determining the features of a publication.
  • Setting and enforcing deadlines.
  • Making a final determination about what will be published in an issue.
  • Coordinating frequency of publication.
  • Overseeing all operations of a publication.
What tasks will learners need to complete to achieve the project goal?

The final deliverables should take the form of:

  • Proofread and professional newsletters that are ready to be published
  • A presentation of the work to the employer
  • Scheduled emails on automation for the year.
  • Compelling content, using engaging on brand visuals highly stylistic and design oriented.
How will you support learners in completing the project?

Students will connect directly with the employer for mentorship throughout the project. We will support with a Mailchimp account that has a design element to use templates to flesh out a design and visual look with. We will also support you with our Canva account to source images, and create designs where need be to input into the newsletters.
