Project scope
What is the main goal for this project?

Our company will be executing onboarding tasks with each new employee and need to create appropriate policies and procedures. We need an online course that will introduce employees to their new roles, take employees through all start-up resources, and provide our HR personnel with standardized documentation through policies and procedures.

We would like to automate our onboarding process as we shift into a mainly virtual environment.

What tasks will learners need to complete to achieve the project goal?

Develop a new on-boarding process for our company with a written report of recommended next steps.

Develop employee handbook.

Develop HR policies and procedures.

How will you support learners in completing the project?

Students will connect directly with the employer for mentorship and supervision throughout the project. A direct project lead will connect with students 2-3 times per week to review progress, evaluate project, and move the project forward.

What skills or technologies will help learners to complete the project?

Students should be prepared to

  • Gathering relevant course design and content information for from interviews with key stakeholders.
  • Create Employee Relations documents
