Project scope
What is the main goal for this project?

The main goal for the project is to create a user-friendly app for migrant workers to order food to be delivered to them on the farms. The app should have a simple interface for users to browse food options, place orders, and track deliveries. It should also include a payment system and a feedback feature for users to rate their experience.

This will involve several different steps for the students, including:

- Conducting research on the needs and preferences of migrant workers in terms of food delivery.

- Designing wireframes and prototypes for the app's user interface.

- Developing the app's functionality for browsing, ordering, and tracking deliveries.

- Implementing a secure payment system within the app.

- Testing the app with potential users and making improvements based on feedback.

What tasks will learners need to complete to achieve the project goal?

By the end of the project, students should complete the following tasks:

- Research report on the needs and preferences of migrant workers related to food delivery.

- Wireframes and prototypes for the app's user interface.

- Developed app with browsing, ordering, tracking, and payment features.

- Testing report with feedback from potential users and improvements made based on the feedback.

Final deliverables:

- Fully functional app with source code and documentation.

- A report detailing the design process, user feedback, and improvements made.

- A presentation demonstrating the app's features and functionality.

How will you support learners in completing the project?

Our support plan ensures that learners have the necessary support, resources, and guidance to successfully create a food delivery app tailored for migrant workers. By structuring the project timeline, allocating dedicated resources, providing access to essential tools and data, and establishing clear communication channels, we can facilitate a collaborative and effective learning environment.
