Project scope
What is the main goal for this project?

DS Group Advisors LLC markets and sells a variety of consulting engagements to manufacturing clients, including a focus on several procurement topics (Co Procurement Guide Assessment, Mexico Supplier ID & Verification, Global Commodity Teams & Strategies, Supplier Relationship enhancements (ex. Supplier Scorecards)) and one Sales topic (helping foreign companies with sales approaches, introductions, and winning business with NA customers). We have developed a high level marketing and sales approach however have not yet refined it to best reach and close new business.

We would like to collaborate with students to review and post content promoting our company and our 4-5 main consulting engagements.

This will involve several different steps for the students, including:

  • Familiarizing themselves with our mission, target market, customer problems we solve, and consulting services.
  • Familiarizing themselves with our marketing/sales messaging (Following Business Made Simple Storybrand framework)
  • Reviewing marketing content in the form of posts, emails, website, webinars, etc.
  • Deploying content according to a new social media calendar you help develop, to increase website and LinkedIn Company page traffic.
  • Overseeing our channels and keeping them up-to-date with new, creative, effective posts, emails, and Linked In Company and Principal page and website updates.

Bonus steps in the process would also include:

  • Recommending search engine optimization (SEO) strategies so our company, materials/consulting services are easily accessible.
What tasks will learners need to complete to achieve the project goal?

By the end of the project, students should demonstrate:

  • Familiarity with our target market and services
  • Creation and Deployment of marketing content
  • Enhancements to company LinkedIn Page, Website, Marketing materials
  • Updates to our channels

Bonus steps would include:

  • Recommending SEO strategies

Final deliverables should include:

  • Marketing materials (social media calender, proforma post formats for company and each of 4-5 major services, proforma prospect nurture and other sales emails, enhanced sales prospecting excel tracker).
