What is the main goal for this project?

PROJECT DESCRIPTION/DESCRIPTION DU PROJET:

We are committed to becoming a market leader in Online Business Insurance, which is in its infancy, in Alberta. To assist with this goal, we will be implementing and customizing automated communications workflows and (Insurance Specific) Marketing Program to keep in contact with our existing clients and new/existing prospects. Our intention is to build brand awareness, inform/educate and cross-sell in a variety of business insurance areas.

With assistance from Collis' In-house project lead, marketing assistant, and the Marketing Software implementation lead - the project will entail:

  • Learning about the two software programs
  • Establish/design the project plan
  • Assess and update existing customers' data to integrate with the new Automated Marketing software
  • Back end set up of the Marketing Software and/or minor customization of the CRM software where needed
  • Brainstorm/create/write marketing campaigns utilizing existing created content
  • Identify/write & set up emails contact scripts
  • and test / finesse the final product(s).

HOW MANY STUDENT INTRAPRENEURS WILL THIS PROJECT ACCOMMODATE?/DE COMBIEN D’ÉTUDIANTS AVEZ-VOUS BESOIN POUR EXÉCUTER CE PROJET? Three (3) students.

TIME COMMITMENT PER STUDENT/TEMPS DE TRAVAIL PAR ÉTUDIANT: 50 hours

KEY PROJECT ACTIVITIES/TÂCHES ASSOCIÉES AU PROJET:

  • Configuring, classifying, and updating existing client records in CRM (eg. identifying client industries, identifying target insurances, etc) to pull into the Automated Marketing software, design / set up 10 automated workflow planned customer communications.
  • Customize Marketing Software program to our needs, including add branding, set up reports for tracking metrics, utilize integration capabilities to identify & set up marketing lists of clients/prospects
  • Design 10 marketing campaigns/workflow plans, review and select pre-written content, design and write introductory client supporting marketing communications for various marketing initiatives (eg. cross-sell specific insurance products like Cyber Liability or Directors & Officers liability, set up campaign asking for referrals or review, monthly newsletter, train / encourage the use of client portal, etc.)

IDEAL ROLES/RESPONSIBILITIES/RÔLES/RESPONSABILITÉS:*

The ideal team members are highly technically proficient and enjoy learning/working in new software systems (you will be learning too)

  • Individuals should be detail-oriented, have the technology, communications, and/or marketing interests/skills, as the project will involve all three throughout. The individual should work well independently as well as enjoy collaborating within a team environment.

FINAL PROJECT DELIVERABLES/LIVRABLES DU PROJET:

  • Integrate/Configure use of the two software programs for marketing purposes and set up a minimum of 10 pre-designed marketing campaigns and
  • Set up / establish 10 automated workflow communications in a variety of topics.
