Details

We want students to help us build a marketing plan for our new Ag Tech startup. We’d like a comprehensive set of recommendations on how to optimize the marketing mix elements to grow our new business. how we can maximize use of different channels and get recommendations to improve our messaging.

The main questions we’d like students to help us answer are the following:

  • What is the market potential for our new technology?
  • How do we promote our shared values with our customers? (Ours is a at tech subsidiary of a not-for-profit, our strength is 'built by farmers for farmers'"
  • How do we position our brand and marketing for optimal impact?
  • What would students recommend as strategies related to Marketing mix - Product, Place, Price and Promotion?
  • How could our messaging be updated to better explain our value proposition?
Deliverables

Students will need to:

Complete a Target Market assessment.

Prepare a company and market analyses.

Finalize a comprehensive marketing plan.

Mentorship

Students will connect directly with the employer, who will appoint a representative who can meet with the team regularly and respond quickly to questions.
