- What is the main goal for this project?

We would like students to help us with creating content that is aligned with our vision, mission, and sector.
Project: create graphics for our registered charity's Annual Report to be displayed on our website and distributed to interested parties. We provide you with text, pictures, patient testimonials and access to previous Annual Reports.
Our mission: Shine Through the Rain Foundation aims to help individuals and families affected by life-threatening illness, working hard to improve and enrich the lives of those who approach us in their time of need. We support adults, children and families from all walks of life, providing advice, guidance and financial support as they try to navigate emotional, physical and financial challenges that arise from a health crisis. Our organization offers care, comfort and compassion as we endeavor to shine a light on the devastating impact of life-threatening illness across Canada.

To accomplish this, we expect the student(s) will:
- create graphics for our Annual Report in keeping with our mission, vision and sector.
- How will you support learners in completing the project?

Students will work closely with the primary project manager who is supervising and available for questions. This will also include occasional progress meetings where adjustments to the students' tasks and duties can be made if necessary.
We will provide an introductory educational session about who we are, our programs, provide you with previous Annual Reports, answer questions you may have, and work with you to establish a timeline, provide feedback.

Shine Through The Rain does many things but all in the service of one goal. That goal is to help those who are affected by life threatening illnesses across Canada. Whether it’s through services or funds we provide guidance, support, and financial aid to those in need. We help adults, children, and families find the silver lining. When things seem gloomy and you’re being rained on we’re here to help you shine through it. GOAL/VISION is for all patients to recover in their own homes instead of worrying about eviction, utility disconnections, hunger and inability to afford medical parking or transportation.
