Details

The project aims to equip healthcare providers with essential tools to identify and address coercive control in patient interactions. Coercive control is a form of psychological abuse that can severely impact a patient's well-being and autonomy. By providing frontline workers with the necessary resources, this initiative seeks to raise awareness and promote early intervention, ultimately fostering safety and health equity. The project involves creating an informative infographic for clinics that visually explains the signs of coercive control. Additionally, an interactive checklist will be developed to guide healthcare providers during screenings, ensuring they can effectively recognize and respond to signs of coercive control. This initiative empowers both providers and patients, contributing to a safer and more equitable healthcare environment.
