vital signs value propositions pharmaceuticals biotechnology pediatrics business-to-consumer clinical trials economics researchFuture Care (FC) needs to research the potential for its device to be used by 3rd parties to improve their clinical trial’s success, efficiency & effectiveness.
Some 50% of clinical trials fail when testing equipment or in developing new drugs and medication. This low clinical trial success rate is immensely costly, time consuming and if unsuccessful, places a heavy drain on a 3rd party’s resources.
Prior to approaching paediatric/baby equipment and pharmaceuticals companies, we want to have more in-depth information and understanding of where our device fits into the clinical trials market, processes and address the following, but not limited to:
· The problem facing clinical trials and whey they often fail, understanding the market
· Size of market in UK, US, Canada, and Australia, followed by rest of world
· Develop a pitch deck and value proposition to present to interested parties
· Potential economics and savings our device would have on a clinical trial(s) and how these savings have been identified.
· Competition, SWOT etc..
· Prioritised target list of potential interested parties.
To date we would be considering: Johnson & Johnson, Pfizer, Merk, AstraZeneca, or any of the UK top Biotech companies on the www.biopharmaguy.com list. Ideally but not essential target opportunities will have some connection to medical/consumer baby products, paediatrics, or related products services.
DESCRIPTION OF THE DEVICE:
A bespoke non-invasive wearable, medical precision instrument for infants (0–24months). A bridge between consumer (B2C) and medical (B2M), accurately, reliably remotely monitoring an infant's vital signs in the home, hospital, anywhere.
FC offers student(s) or teams a meet and greet 1hr+ conf call and thereafter a 30min/weekly mentoring and coaching session until the project is completed.
FC also has a Dropbox contain CV’s of quality students who have competed FC’s research. This si made available to our partners to support the student in developing their career prospects.
